TM Robotics, has welcomed Global Manufacturing Incorporated (GMI) to its worldwide automation network.. Alongside its existing assembly and automation offering, GMI is now an authorised supplier of Shibaura Machine robots for Mexico.
TM Robotics’ new partnership will sustain the growing demand for automation and robotics in Mexico. Demand for robotics in the country is expected to increase to fulfil the country’s growing automobile production capacity. According to industry experts, Mexico will manufacture one of every eight new light vehicles sold in the United States this year, therefore increasing the nation’s need for automated technology.
“This new partnership will allow us to tap into the increasing demand for industrial robots in Mexico,” explained Nigel Smith, president of TM Robotics. “This demand is driven mostly by the automotive, plastics and electronics sectors, making it essential for us to have a strong, technical sales and support partner to service this market.
“Having officially signed GMI as a distributor at Automate 2019, North America’s largest industrial technology conference, the partnership will help us to supply Shibaura Machine’s extensive and well-trusted robot range to emerging automation markets.”
GMI is one of several new distributor signings for TM Robotics, adding to the company’s extensive network in North America. Having been established in 1998, GMI has established an array of diverse contacts in the region’s manufacturing industry and boasts a wealth of technical expertise. This makes the company an ideal supplier of Shibaura Machine’s industrial robots.
“Our main priority is to exceed our customers’ expectations,” explained Erasmo Duarte, Managing Director at GMI. “We understand the importance of continuous improvement on our client’s production lines, of which robotics often plays an important role. For this reason, our partnership with TM Robotics will reap significant rewards for our clients and their manufacturing productivity.”
The partnership allows TM Robotics and GMI to deliver a full breadth of cutting-edge solutions, training and support services for industrial robots, allowing end users to keep pace with Mexico’s move towards automation and digitization.
