TM Robotics will exhibit its latest industrial automation packages at Medical Device & Manufacturing (MD&M) 2019, held in Minneapolis, Minnesota, from October 23-24. At booth 723, visitors will be able to see the TVM 6-axis robot working in perfect calibration, as it unloads and inspects the output of a plastic injection moulding machine with highly-accurate synchronicity.
The TVM 6-axis robot is a cost-effective, vertically articulated robot with a lightweight, reliable design. At MD&M, the highly productive machine will work in tandem with Toshiba Machines’ injection moulding machine, demonstrating the ease of integrating this robot with other equipment, for effective unloading, assembly or inspection.
Also exhibiting at the show is TM Robotics’ Minnesota and Wisconsin distributor, Werner Electric, which will be showcasing the TVL500 6-axis, THL300 SCARA machine and THL700 SCARA at booth 805. These machines will demonstrate the ease of integrating multiple industrial robots for one application, focusing on the speed and precision.
“We understand that most of the time, visitors aren’t shopping for discrete elements of automation, but rather a complete solution,” said Nigel Smith, president of TM Robotics. “Exhibiting at MD&M 2019 is a great opportunity to showcase the ease in which our robot packages can be integrated into industrial settings. We will demonstrate the full automation package, using Toshiba Machine’s plastic injection moulding machine, TVM 6-axis robot and programming software.”
“Our distributor partner, Werner Electric, will also be demonstrating the high accuracy of our 6-axis and SCARA robots with a unique golf demonstration. Visitors will see first-hand just how good our robots are at playing golf. Ultimately, a hole-in-one in this setting really translates to highly repeatable automation in the industrial setting.”
MD&M connects attendees with industry leaders in 3D printing, biocompatible materials, plastics manufacturing, robotics and automation. Aimed at MedTech engineers and innovators, MD&M boasts five events in one. Visitors can register their attendance to the MD&M show in advance. Tickets can be acquired on the MD&M show website, along with the agenda for the conference.
